Though Motorpoint has cut a few prices, there has been very little movement over the past week, which doesn’t mean that enforced price will not be felt over the next few months. Trade Sales has a healthy stock of all BMW 3 Series in strongest demand. Sports cars like MX5s, MFTFs and MR2s are still looking very good value generally, with spec differences such as hardtops accounting for slightly higher prices. Last week Sterling slid 8% against the Euro and it could have a lot further to go. This means that future Euro imports are going to cost at least 8% more. But cars in stock now at the big supersites like Trade Sales and Motorpoint are still at pre Sterling-fall prices and this week Trade Sales has cut as much as £700 from some prices (new Mondeo 1.8LXs for £10,499).
