Nuna Pipa Lite LX This lightweight car sear from Nuna offers an impressive amount of comfort and protection. The Pipa Lite really lives up to its name, being an exceptionally light car seat despite its strong shell - which is great for parents who struggle to lift and carry seats in and out of the car. -
Car Seat Chooser (Article)
2. Does my car have Isofix child seat anchor points? Isofix has been standard on all new cars since 2006 so if you’re buying new, your car will have it fitted. And if you’re choosing a used car, there’s a good chance your car will have Isofix - around 60% of all cars on the road have it fitted. -

Review: EE in-car WiFi (productReview)
What is it? EE’s in-car WiFi leaves nothing to the imagination in the name department. Buy this widget for your car and you’ll have the luxury of WiFi wherever you go, as long as there’s signal of course. You get what looks like a glorified gearknob, but this is the crucial bit that provides the connection. -
Review: Mio MiVue 792 Wifi Pro (productReview)
There are also a few technical elements that bump up the price and Mio even says that the 792 will be able to offer several of the safety features found on modern, well-equipped cars. It will warn you if you are showing signs of being too tired, if you are drifting out of your lane and if you are in danger of crashing into the car in front. It does this by combining the camera image with the internal GPS system. -
Review: Sealey MAC03 tyre inflator (productReview)
What is it? If you’re running low tyre pressures on your car, you might as well be throwing money away as you can expect increased fuel consumption. Not only that, but they can also mean your car will not handle as well as it should, while you can expect braking performance to be compromised as well. -

Review: Ring RTC1000 Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator (productReview)
The 3.5m lead isn’t perhaps as long as some on the market but can do the job of reaching the tyre furthest away from the in-car power supply. Much improved is the tyre valve connector which, unlike many others, is now sturdier. This new, bigger brass unit makes it much easier to connect to a tyre valve that’s all covered in road gunk because it’s big enough for you to grip properly. -
BATTERIES: How do I extend the life of my battery and prevent it going flat?  (FAQs)
We see cases where thebattery has failed after only two to three years rather than the usual five to six,as a result of only doing short journeys. "Batteries are made to workharder than ever before as a modern car draws around three times as much electrical current than a Morris Minor. A Morris Minor in the 1970s needed around 21A, a modern mid-sizecar uses as much as 65A" To help prevent problems, Paul says: "Regular long runs in the car could double yourbattery's life but if this isn't possible, a battery trickle charger will keep it ingood condition, extend its life and give you the reassurance that your car willstart. -
Top 10: Baby car seats under £250 (Article)
It’s also great at doing the basics, as it is very easy to fit, simple to carry and has an excellent cover. The only thing we’d like to improve is the strap adjustment system and the slightly fiddly buckle. Other than that, it is a fantastic seat that will provide reassurance in and out of the car for the first year or so of a child’s life. -

Halfords Catalogue 1965 (Article)
Car cover on Amazon for £36 * Spark plugs, brake adjusters - what witchcraft is this? Next you'll be telling me I have to check my oil. While modern motorists have to visit their friendly local franchise dealer to replace a lightbulb (and a bank to get the loan to pay for it) older cars were expected to serviced by Dad on his driveway. -

It also has twin HEPA filters that can be washed, so it has plenty of bases covered. Smaller children are restrained using the integral five-point harness, while larger ones (from around 15kg to 25kg) are restrained using the car’s three-point seatbelt. The 3.5kg weight is relatively low, too, while the cover can be removed and washed by hand, which is a bonus. Team Tex Beone First Pop Group 0+ For those that want a dedicated infant seat that comes with a little more cocooning, this Group 0+ seat sits your little one facing backwards for up to the first 15 months of their car-travelling life, or until they are 13kg. -
Review: Ring High Power Micro Jump Starter (productReview)
It feels a well made and high-quality product, which helps justify the price, but it's the small things that are the most useful - for example, the jump starter port has a rubber cover to keep dirt out, while the two USB ports are really handy if you need to charge your phone but don't have a spare 12v socket in the car. Of course, the real test comes when you actually need to jump-start a car. -

That will depend on your choice of location and the cars involved. That might not sound like a huge amount – because it isn’t – but it’s worth bearing in mind that at 120mph you cover a mile in only 30 seconds. -
Review: Thule Raingutter bike rack for older/classic cars (productReview)
The world seems to have embraced cycling, and despite the 'them and us' approach some drivers and cyclists seem to have, there’s quite often the need to carry your bike somewhere. It’s relatively easy to get a set-up for a modern car, but what about us classic car drivers? Thule has the answer. Browse its website and you’ll find choices for model years as far back as the 1970s, so if you’re a classic car driver with a penchant for pedal power at your destination, all is not lost. -

Review: Micro Wagon (productReview)
A few things to note though, if you're tall you'll find the handle a little low and it would benefit from a hoop type handle rather than a t-bar. If you can't park your car near your house, the Micro Wagon can come in really helpful, especially if you have a boot full of shopping and a tired toddler to deal with. It's here where we've used the Micro Wagon the most, saving us having to do trips back and forth to the car - and much whinging from a grumpy three-year-old.
