mobiles and driving 4 Dec 2001 (Forum)
Hi folks not posted for a while so thought I would relay the good news story of the day, for me anyway. Im not one to make calls on the mobile in general when driving, but crossing the M62 to Manchester at 06:30 on the way to work this morning, (Frost in Huddersfield so used the car and not the Blackbird) I was behind an Escort type van. I was braking but still catching it up and cars in front had their brake lights on. -

Any - Flooded roads and insurance companies 15 Nov 2023 (Forum)
When people are daft enough to deliberately attempt to drive through obviously flooded roads do insurance companies simply say " oh poor you let us pick up the bill for your loss". Just that youtube seems to be full of such i****ic behavior. Apologies if this has been covered before -

2022 Citroen C3 & Dash Cam 3 Jul 2022 (Forum)
I have two questions: 1) For those that have the above car, are you happy with it? 2) Does the dash cam activate when the car is parked? For example if someone drives into the car when it is stationary and not switched on. -
Any - Outsourcing our brains 7 Dec 2021 (Forum)
Driving home in early evening gloom the vast majority of cars had their headlights on. Those who didn't were relatively new. I wondered if they were on automatic. Then it is not your decision to put on lights but a rigid decision making system. -
Best vehicles for bad weather 4 Dec 2021 (Forum)
After reading the reports of the recent bad weather associated with Storm Arwen (fortunately not bad here in Berkshire) I realise that in really bad conditions (storm force winds, torrential rain, flooding or snow) the best advice would be not to travel at all, but if you absolutely had to, what vehicle models would members prefer to be driving? -
Hyundai i30 - TPMS sensor reset/recalibration 15 Mar 2021 (Forum)
Can anyone advise me if there is a reset/recalibration procedure for TPMS sensors on Hyundai i30. The book says to drive the car, the sensor is pinging as that's been checked. The warning cleared once but has returned. Everything is at the correct pressures and the sensor was okay before it was removed for the alloy wheels to be refurbished. -

Over here, ..... 27 Apr 2020 (Forum)
It seems that another American has come to grief near the RAF Croughton base in Northants, luckily this time only hitting a wall, not another vehicle. Does anyone know whether the American occupants of the base drive on the right, so that they can exercise their accustomed Jeep habits ? If so, it's hardly surprising that some forget after going off limits ? -
