>> Read our full review Spytrack Nano tracker This tracker by Rewire Security is ostensibly the simplest piece of electrical kit you’ll ever buy. It’s a small tracker device for keeping tabs on any particular thing of your choice — be it a car, an object or a person. If you want to track a car, you’ll need to buy the optional magnetic case (£25) if you want to make it fully waterproof and stick it in the wheel arch. Or for a fiver less you could buy an official car hardwire kit, that’ll also prevent the battery from running out. -
Review: Thule Epos towbar bike rack (productReview)
Not only that, but it neatly folds up when you're not using it - it won't take up loads of space in your garage, while it's compact enough to pop in the boot of your car if you need to. If you're an occasional user then this is a big investment and you might be better served looking at one of Thule's more affordable solutions, while there are roof bike rack systems to consider as well. -
Top 10: Best axle stands 2023 (Article)
Keep an eye out for deals and you may well be able to get a set of four for £40, allowing you to safely support an entire car on axle stands alone – which could be ideal for those with long-term projects. They benefit from a lifetime warranty, too, if you register online. Vigor V2477 3 Tonne Axle Stands Many cars have jacking points with sill seams running through them; use a conventional jack or stand on these points and you’ll often flatten the seam, which can damage the paint and – besides looking ugly – cause corrosion-related issues. -

Gift under £50 of the Year shortlist (Article)
If you have CarPlay or Android Auto in your car, then there isn’t much that should sway you to buy the Anker Roav VIVA. It also can't offer more than your current virtual assistant, like Siri, can already do. However, if you have an older car that you can use Bluetooth or an aux input in, the VIVA can offer a very useful functionality to your journeys — like the ability to skip songs or turn up the volume handsfree. -

Review: Thule Motion XT Sport roof box (productReview)
As for the economy, we saw a slight reduction of about 1mpg when it was fitted, although you do have to take into account the weight of all the extra gear you're carrying. There's also the issue of storing your roof box when it's not on your car - and not scratching the gloss black top on the Motion XT. Should I buy one? If you need occasional extra space - we found it incredibly handy when going on holiday - then a roof box is a simple solution and one that easily frees up space on your car.
Review: TowerTop Tyre Inflator (productReview)
While we know not many driver's check their tyres every month as is recommended, having a decent tyre inflator for your car certainly makes the job simpler - and is likely to encourage you to do it more regularly. It's why we've always been a fan of simple to use and fast tyre inflators. One of the latest we've tested is this
Review: Bridgestone Turanza 6 tyres (productReview)
The Turanza 6 is 2dB quieter than the T005 it replaces and it's certainly a quiet tyre - something you readily appreciate on a big car like the Audi Q7. In terms of grip, the big Audi Q7 isn't the kind of car you want to be throwing around corners, but as SUVs go, it's one of the better handling models out there. The Turanza 6 tyres give you plenty of confidence in dry conditions feeling confidently grippy through low speed corners and reassuringly safe at higher speeds.
Review: Thule Force XT Sport (productReview)
Again, if you have a taller car, you will need to stand on the door sills to reach the adjusters. You can't overtighten them though as they have a built-in torque system which means they simply click if you continue to twist the dial.

Top 10: Best roof bags (Article)
It can fit onto side rails or cross bars and the material makes it foldable so it can be packed into a small bag, which you can keep in the car. AUPERTO 425L The 425-litre AUPERTO roof bag is waterproof and windproof, with heavy-duty straps which can be easily attached to rack or side rails. However, you don't need roof bars as the strap can be secured from the top of the bag through the inside of the car.Day Fourteen Prize - Beeline Smart Compass (Article)

>> Read our full review Thule Raingutter bike rack for older/classic cars Most cars in the 1970s and 80's had rain gutters, so the whole business of attaching roof racks became a bit more complicated when these were removed. But Thule has the answer. Browse its website and you’ll find choices for model years as far back as the 1970s, so if you’re a classic car driver with a penchant for pedal power at your destination, all is not lost.
Review: The Road Bike Manual smartphone app (productReview)
You might associate Haynes with its comprehensive car repair manuals, but it’s been branching out in recent years. From guides to the Millennium Falcon to a Build Your Own V8 Engine , Haynes caters for a much wider market than those wanting to take their car to bits (and put it back together again).
Review: Lanka Blue dash cam (productReview)
The footage is adequate rather than high definition as you can see. Even blown up to full on a laptop, it is hard to read numberplates on cars that are further away than a few metres and the colours are poor. The footage is suitable for backing up an account of an incident rather than analysing minute details. As usual, we have to point out that the footage here is compressed by Youtube - the raw footage is better quality.
