  It's not designed to completely inflate a tyre - for that you need a more serious bit of kit like the Ring RTC1000 , but for checking tyre pressures (and topping up) it's ideal. We tested it on our Volvo V60 and to top up each tyre (about 2 to 3PSI) took around a minute and half for each which is pretty good. There's a digital display plus you can pre-set the pressure and just leave it to get in with the job.

  We've used it with our own Audi e-tron as well as a slew of different EVs we have tested including everything from a Volvo EC40 and a Vauxhall Astra Electric to a Volkswagen ID.7 GTX and a BMW i5 M60. It's perfomed impeccably with all, which the app making things very simple to control.  I initially wasn't sure if a five metre cable would be long enough given the various EVs I test, but it's surprisingly flexible cable and I've managed to hook it up to every EV that's been on the drive with no fuss.

  This is able to record in the same 1080p as the main camera and with a 155-degree field of view, it covers a wide area behind the car. As a result, the footage captured is just as sharp. We tested it in a Volvo XC60 (to give you some idea of height) which of course has the advantage of a rear wiper in wet conditions. If you've got a saloon you may find the camera filming raindrops on particularly wet days...

  There is now a standard conversion of the Perkins 180 diesel engine for buses and trucks, enabling them to run on LPG at the increased consumption rate of 25 to 50 per cent, but using a fuel which is less than half the price of diesel. New Citroen Xantias, Ford Mondeos, Vauxhall Vectras and Volvos with LPG conversions used to qualify for Powershift grants, but Citroen and Ford stopped offering converted cars and the EC has now stopped Powershift grants altogether.
