  [endif]--> We have a petrol driven 2003 Vauxhall Zafira that has started to have an intermittent starting problem.  What happens is that sometimes there is no problem in starting and running, while at other times it fails to start (it does turn over), and if it does catch it sounds like it is running on 2 or 3 cylinders, and stalls when any load is placed on it.  It has been into a garage twice, once to replace the throttle unit, and once to clear out some air intakes, but still the problem persists.

  My 2006 Mondeo tdci - 74k - has a warm/hot starting problem but starts and runs perfectly when cold. However when warm/hot on turning the engine it fires as if on one cylinder, makes a heavy knocking (external as distinct from within engine - maybe exhaust) rev counter barely registers but after about 5 seconds the engine picks up and then runs normally.

  hi every on first time on the forum. need some advice for my sedona 2002 2.9 the engine runs fine but not revving past 3000 rpm and that would make gears change very dificult . had the hooked on the kia main dealer computer and no fault was found and no engine light on at all plus the engine keeps running fine even with the MAF unplugged. some body might have sorted this problem before  please help me i'm really stuck and do not know what to do with it . thanks a lot for your response

  Very briefly, I'm looking for an economical/reliable car to take me about 100 miles up and down a motorway twice a week and a little bit of running around in town. My budget is up to 3-4k. I like the look and have heard good things about the 1.3l Yaris and have seen some nice models from around 2005 with fairly low mileages. I guess the main thing is that I'm going to want something that is a comfortable ride on the motorway, but isn't going to cost me a fortune to run/insure/maintain.

  I crawled underneath to take a look and it looks like some kind of sensor. It's hanging down under the alternator and the wires come from a wiring loom that runs down past the alternator.   my car has been running really hot lately, the temp gauge doesnt say it is but you pop the bonet nad i could have a bbq. i drained the radiator and filled up with water/antifreeze and a bottle of k-seal, i think my heads on its way and need a temp fix. i filled her up and let her run idle for 15 and now it seems to heat up quicker, do i need to bleed the radiator and if so how?
