VW Golf Mk5 1.9TDI - Pressure in the coolant expansion tank 30 Jan 2019 (Forum)
Could there be air in the coolant system which is causing both of the above? The car is running fine and soon gets up to standard 90degC running temp. The coolant also hasn't been changed/emptied in the past 18mths that we've had the car. -
Ford Powershift - Is this right 26 Jul 2018 (Forum)
When one guy asked what oil he needed for his Powershift dual clutch box he was told in no uncertain terms to RTFM as the Powershift is, unlike the VAG system, dry and simply runs two conventional clutches die-by-side." Can this be true. I know that VAG produce a wet clutch as well as dry clutch DSG box but to suggest the box runs dry is surely not correct. -
peugeot 206 1.4 petrol - clutch problem 8 Jul 2015 (Forum)
hi, just replaced clutch cable on my daughters 2002 1.4 206, clutch worked once and then a bang and now pedal goes to floor but doesn't disengage clutch, making an awful noise when engine running. Have checked cable and it's working but the clutch arm on top of gearbox can now be pulled with one finger.... Any ideas what is the problem now? Is it likely to be the clutch itself or summat like the release bearings, the noise with the engine running sounds like something is grinding... -
mondeo 1.8 2001 - under heating 30 Apr 2015 (Forum)

Kia Ceed & Rio - Technical Questions 15 Oct 2014 (Forum)
Does anyone have any feedback as to which overall is the better purchase for mixed driving around town with a fair number of long motorway runs. I am looking to keep the car a very long time 10 years plus and will likely run the vehicle for 150k miles plus. -

I bought a 2011 ford Mondeo 2.0tdci. The car is running really well but I have discovered that the lead from the glow plug relay that runs down past the alternator shows some damage just accross from the alternater bearing. i would like to replace this cable but I am not sure if its part of the engine wiring loom of if a section of this can be replaced. -
Peugeot 307 1.6 hdi xline 2005 - Sluggish/Smoke 2 Jun 2014 (Forum)
I picked up this car only a month ago, it's under warranty but I need a little help. It starts fine, runs well too for the most part. The trouble is that when I'm driving around either locally or on a run, when I accelerate (usually between 30to 50 mph) the engine feels really sluggish, as if blocked and there is black smoke blowing out of the exhaust. -

Police To Monitor East Anglia Level Crossings 5 Aug 2011 (Forum)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-14370085 I watched this on BBC Look East and it was accompanied by a clip supposedly filmed today of a group of young children maybe around 6 or 7 all running under the barrier just as it comes down to all sprint across. Add that to the clips we've all seen of mothers running across with their prams and the guy who vaulted the barrier and lost his shoe etc How stupid are these people?! -
