Review: Honda Forza 125 2017 (productReview)
Of course, the same could be said of most 125cc scooters – and there are lots of options that give the Honda a run for its money. The Kawasaki J125 provides a similar experience for less money, while Honda’s own PCX 125 is significantly cheaper to buy and just as cheap to run, albeit less plush and high-tech. The Forza 125 is very pricey for a 125cc scooter at £4566 – but we think it’s worth it for the level of quality, refinement, economy, performance and practicality on offer. -
Review: Bridgestone DriveGuard tyres (productReview)
What is it? It’s a replacement tyre with run-flat capability. Normally, run-flat tyres are fitted from the factory by car manufacturers, so cars have bespoke suspension settings designed specifically to complement the tyres. DriveGuard tyres can be fitted to almost any car, on the proviso that it has tyre pressure monitoring, something all new cars must have by law. -

COOLING SYSTEM AIRLOCKS: How do I get rid of an engine cooling system airlock?  (FAQs)
Drive the car round the block at normal speed. When you get home, leave the engine running and VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY AND USING A BIG RAG OR TOWEL, release the expansion tank pressurecap just enough to let any air out, but close it cagain before coolant comes out. With a bit of luck, that should get rid of the airlock. -
Review: Micro Suspension Scooter (productReview)
The larger 200mm wheels combined with the built-in rear suspension mean it's great over bumpy or rough surfaces. It really surprised us with how smooth it runs and there are no rattles on the move, instead just a lovely effortless ride. The soft grip handlebars help filter out some of the vibration and on a good run, you can get a real turn of speed out of the Micro Suspension, the low rolling resistance wheels help. -

Review: Sony PlayStation 4 Pro games console (productReview)
'True' 4K or not, the graphical upshift is remarkable. Of course, it’s difficult to convey that without actually showing you the same game running in standard resolution and in 4K – those of you who remember watching those ‘DVD is amazing’ adverts on your portable telly at the start of a VHS movie will know why. Trust us though, 4K games look beautiful. -
EGO LM1701E cordless mower (productReview)
The EGO LM1701E is powered by a 56-volt lithium-ion battery - a first for a cordless electric lawn mower, and can be charged in as little as 30 minutes. That's quick, but a little bit of the shine is taken off by the 20 minute run time with the supplied 2.5Ah battery. If that's not enough, EGO will sell you a 5Ah or 7.5Ah battery that deliver 40 and 60 minute charge times respectively. The wide cutting width of 42mm means you can cover ground pretty quickly though, while there's a broad range of seven adjustable cutting heights that runs from 80mm to a Wimbledon Groundsman-pleasing 20mm. -

DUAL MASS FLYWHEELS: What are they and why are they so much trouble?  (FAQs)
Van specialists weld together the two parts of the flywheels of Transit vans to prevent separation trouble, but this leads to very rough running. Here is a Scotia Inspections engineer's report on a failed Dual Mass Flywheel in a Peugeot 407 diesel: The dual mass fly wheel was still in situ. The engineer could move the fly wheel back and forth, clearly the unit had excess movement between the primary and secondary flywheel on the 8 centre bolts, the fixing stud holes had clearly excessively stretched. -

Conversely, if you lose your phone you can double press the Tile’s button to make your phone ring, even if it’s on silent. There’s plenty to more to recommend the ER-6f too, such as the decent finish and low insurance and running costs. It also has a fairing to deflect the weather, which its ER-6n sister doesn’t. Spend £3000 and you’ll bag a 2012 Kawasaki ER-6f with 20,000 and lots of fun left to run. Honda NC700X Effortless is a word that sums up the Honda NC700X perfectly. -
Review: Hyperkin SmartBoy (productReview)
It probably took 10 minutes to set up and the instructions needed to be followed meticulously. Once up-and-running, the first thing that strikes you is just how crisp and clear the screen is. For those of us who battled with the blurry green, too dark/too bright and black screens of the original - it’s impressive to see these games playing on modern screens. -
Review: Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation) (productReview)
Eventually, we ended up connecting by accident, and there were several other basic features that had me running to the app’s ‘help’ page. Fortunately, most of the answers were there and we rarely had to go running to Google.
