  Hi, We recently bought a Ford Fiesta and made the mistake of leaving the lights on, running the battery flat and now need the radio code. We don't have the audio manual to find the code. The serial number is M191536. Does anyone know the radio code please?

  Mechanic and auto-electrician have had a look at it,no mechanical faults showing on diagnostics. They have tried resetting code and also disconnected battery and reconnected but to no avail. Any suggestions?

  I'd disable it but the fuse is common to the central locking & deadlocks and there doesn't seem to be a separate relay. The battery is on its way out but still starts the car ok. Any ideas?

  We are now at a Mexican stand off where son expects me to put the belt on so he can continue in his role as g/f's taxi driver, and I think it would be good for his life skills if he put the belt on; it's simple. I also have to consider the effects of running the battery completely flat; it's a tiny budget thing about the size of a tin of Spam. Don't feel a need to comment on this ramble, writing it is good therapy for me.
