  Tyres on my Hilux are 205R16C 110/108 S ; aspect ratio, viz;the figure normally shown as the second number after the tread width is not stated. How do I match snow chains to this sizeing specification and what does the C and the 110/108S represent ?

  I can only presume it is an optimium size for 4 pot configeration. Or do some European country(s) punish anything larger in cc's, tax wise?

  It turns out that the front n/s alloy rim has a crack about 5mm long – possibly as a consequence of hitting a pothole in the winter – not sure why it took so long to show up.   Is it possible and safe to have such a problem repaired or is it better to bite the bullet and buy a new rim?

  Hi, need to change o/s tie rod on 54 plate 1.4 fiesta, do they just unscrew from the steering rack similar to the KA - as mentioned on this forum elsewhere. Cheers

  Time may have distorted my memory but was there a 70's (I think) car branded a Wolfburg or Wolfsburg. I seem to remember it was called the Knight or similar and also that it had an unusual engine, possibly 3 cylinder. I told a work mate about this and could then find absolutely no mention of it on the internet.

  What is it nowadays with drivers and their indicators. It?s a case of I won?t bother indicating and pull out or force my way in. Or my indicator is on and here I come ready or not. Don?t even ask about indicator use on roundabouts nowadays as nobody seems to bother.

  Recently had a "health check" on a car which returned a couple of areas for inspection. Are either of the below likely to cause an MOT failure? Oil leak on gearbox selector seal & O/S drive shaft seal. Exhaust flexi split & corroded. Car driving perfectly well and no exhaust noise. TIA
