The owner has been using this as his daily driver for the past couple of years. He says, ‘It drives really well and looks great. It gets washed and waxed every week.’. The sale even includes that private numberplate: LIJ 8087. With prices for the previous generation Celica (T200) firming up nicely, we don’t think it’ll be long before this generation (T230) starts to appreciate in value. -
Hidden Heroes: Peugeot 106 GTi 24 May 2019 (News)
With the prices of tidy 205 GTis hitting stratospheric heights, then, perhaps it’s time to have a look at the 106 instead. You see, even in 1.1-litre form, the 106 was a chuckle to drive, with a brilliantly balanced chassis and a character that made you want to thrash it everywhere you went. Turn up the dial with a 120bhp 1.6-litre engine and suddenly you end up with a truly brilliant little hot hatch - 0-60 in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 127mph were a match for the 205 GTi 1.9, albeit in a smaller, lighter and bouncier package. -

In 1993, she was caught by the paparazzi on her way to the gym at the wheel of a green Audi 80 Cabriolet, which later led to her confirming that she had, indeed, bought herself one with her own money, having fallen for the car after driving one that belonged to her friend Serena Armstrong-Jones, the wife of Viscount Linley. Her original Cabrio was soon supplanted by a 1994 model, this time unsurprisingly on Audi Head Office number plates, but even so the Princess put her money where her mouth was, and at the same time elevated the Audi brand from decent to agonisingly cool. -

Audi set to confuse the world with strangely illogical name change 23 Aug 2017 (News)
They will retain their classic names in reference to their top position in the model range. Audi justifies this with the statement: “As alternative drive technologies become increasingly relevant, engine displacement as a performance attribute is becoming less important to our customers. The clarity and logic of structuring the designations according to power output makes it possible to distinguish between the various performance levels,” explains Dr. -

January new car sales see biggest increase since 2005 13 Feb 2017 (News)
In fact, the SMMT expects a 5 per cent decline in new car sales over the coming months and are predicting that Brexit and the weaker pound could drive up the cost of imported models. While it may be a new year, one thing hasn't changed and that's the popularity of the Ford Fiesta. It was yet again the most popular seller, followed by the Volkswagen Golf. -
Alvis name revived for continuation classics 31 Jan 2017 (News)
We have had to make some modifications to ensure they comply with current Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) regulations, but essentially the idea is to give owners the same supercar driving experience that owners had when the cars were new. And when you bear in mind that the 4.3 Tourer had a 0-60mph time of 11.3 seconds back in 1938, there’s no denying these were the supercars of their day.' -
