Mutt Motorcycles unveils RS-13 125
Mutt Motorcycles has unveiled the RS-13 125. Priced from £3495 and boasting a top speed of 70mph, the 125cc motorbike is powered by a 12PS air-cooled single cylinder engine and backed by a two year comprehensive warranty.
Fully customisable, the RS-13 125 features LED indicators, 18-inch wheels, deep tread tyres and a hand-finished petrol tank that’s brushed and finished with a stark black stripe and Mutt logo. The bike is completed with LED taillight, flat black Renthal bars and aluminium mud guards that are also finished in satin black
Most of the mechanicals are sourced from Chinese licence-built Suzuki parts, while the 12PS fuel injected 4-stroke single cylinder is linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Mutt is promising a thumping soundtrack, thanks to the bike’s large black heat treated stainless steel exhaust
“The RS-13 is indeed just the bones. We took our tried and tested rolling chassis and added some super wide Continental tyres, cut the rear of the frame nice and short with a stumpy little rear mudguard and put a hand made diamond stitched seat to park your ass on,” said chief Mutt mechanic Benny Thomas.
“We wanted the bike to have a real garage built vibe about it so we took a tank, stripped it back to bare metal and painted that wide black stripe on. Each tank is hand done, the scotch brite finish is different on each bike,” added Thomas.
