Gen-2 GLS
Excellant Value For Money
I bought my Gen-2 GLS in June 2009; it had done 13000 miles; in December 2010 it has done 31000 miles. I find it a comfortable car; it only does about 30m.p.g. in traffic, but 50m.p.g. "on a steady run"; so I say an averages of 38 to 40 m.p.g. would be accurate. The only major fault I have found with it is the turning circle; a U turn is a three point turn and a three point turn is done in five! A shame for such a nice car!!!! I have the hatchback version; with the back seats down I have found more than adequate room for everything we take on a self-catering holiday; for normal everyday use the boot is ample for a huge shop. I have just had the original front tyres changed after 28000 miles, which I consider good; the original rear tyres still have lots more miles in them yet. It starts first time, every time, even in the latest "freeze". The heater/de-mister is brilliant. In a nutshell; A NICE RELIABLE CAR!!!!!!!!!
