Pricing announced for range-topping Dacias

Published 19 March 2015

Full details of the new top-of-the-range versions of the Dacia Sandero, Duster and Logan MCV models, called Lauréate Prime, have been revealed today. Available to order now, each will cost £500 more than the Lauréate versions on which they're based but come with almost £1000 worth of extra equipment, including Dacia’s latest multimedia navigation system.

Concocted to celebrate ten years since Dacia was relaunched in Europe, the Lauréate Prime versions of the Sandero, Duster and Logan are each finished in Cosmos Blue metallic paint, with matching blue detailing for the interior.

Each also features dark grey alloy wheels, grey mirror caps, leather steering wheel, the aforementioned media system, and such luxurious addenda as rear electric windows and a front centre armrest.

Cruise control, climate control, heated electric door mirrors and central locking are all standard, too, as they are in the regular Lauréate models.

The Sandero Lauréate Prime is available with either a 1.5-litre dCi diesel or 0.9-litre TCe petrol, both with 90PS and priced at £10,295 and £9295 respectively. The Logan MCV comes with the same engines, with a £10,295 price on the petrol and £1,000 premium for the diesel, while the Duster is diesel only, coming with a 110PS version of the 1.5-litre oil burner in either front- or four-wheel drive form. The front-driver is £13,995, while £2000 more will get you the 4x4.

Dacia claims to have greatly improved the interface of its multimedia system, with the Lauréate Prime’s MediaNav Evolution system boasting Apple’s SIRI voice recognition, seven-digit postcode recognition, and cloud storage capabilities.
