Honda CR-V prices announced

Fri, 20 Nov 2009
Those considering buying a new car next year may be interested in the prices Honda has announced for its new CR-V.

Ranging from £20,175 to £30,515, these British-built sport utility vehicles boast what the manufacturer claims is a cleaner, more powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine and an upgraded look.

"The top-selling SUV's popular looks have been refreshed with a distinctive new front bumper, grille and revised rear bumper," it said in a statement.

Honda asserted the 2010 CR-V offered "unrivalled equipment levels" and car-like handling.

Those looking to upgrade to an executive model may be swayed by the subwoofers, panoramic roof, auto-dimming mirror and DVD voice-activated navigation.

Automatic gearboxes have been installed on the diesel models and Honda said the interior fabrics had been "upgraded" along with the plastics to give "a more premium finish".

Recently, the manufacturer announced the production of its first British-built Jazz.
