Buying or selling a car? Check out the new Hyundai

Tue, 25 Aug 2009
Motorists who are considering buying a new car have been given their first look at Hyundai's latest sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The Korean manufacturer has revealed the first images of the new ix35, which is being positioned as a "stylish alternative" to conventional vehicles.

Among the key features of the car highlighted by the car maker are its compact design, sleek design and hexagonal grille, which is set to become a standard feature on future Hyundai models.

Additionally, the ix35 is designed to be more fuel efficient and emit less CO2 than rival cars in its class, with Hyundai claiming the SUV will rival hatchbacks in terms of running costs.

The car is to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month ahead of a worldwide rollout in spring next year.

This comes after Hyundai earlier this month stated that its i10, i20 and i30 models have seen a surge in popularity among motorists looking to take advantage of the government scrappage scheme.
