VW Touran Match 'is high-spec model'

Wed, 29 Jul 2009
Motorists who always opt for a high-spec vehicle when buying a car may be impressed with the latest offering from Volkswagen.

The Touran Match is based on the SE version of the MPV, but comes with an additional £1,600 worth of equipment.

In addition to features like curtain airbags, semi-automatic air conditioning and cruise control that are included on other editions of the vehicle, the new variation boasts 16-inch alloys, a multifunction steering wheel, a satnav and smoked lens covers for both the front and rear exterior lights.

Buyers can order the auto immediately - and there is a choice between petrol and diesel versions.

Prices for the model start at £19,515 - £500 more than the SE edition.

In other motoring news, Volkswagen recently announced it is to launch a BlueMotion version of its new Golf.

Buyers interested in the car will be looking at paying a minimum of £17,165.
