Mini First 'will hang onto more of its value than rivals'

Mon, 20 Jul 2009
Motorists keen to secure the best possible price when selling a car may be impressed by a new model from Mini.

The manufacturer has revealed the First is expected to still be worth 50 per cent of its original price tag after three years or 30,000 miles.

It stated this figure is higher than any of the auto's competitors.

According to the group, the latest addition to its line-up should also prove a cost-effective choice in other respects as well.

It explained that at £10,950, the car will be the least expensive model in its range.

The company commented: "The Mini First offers customers the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a unique small premium car at an unbeatable price."

In addition to this, features like Auto Start-Stop may help drivers save money at the pump.

Earlier this year, Mini celebrated 50 years of production at its Oxford plant.
