New Range Rover unveiled

Wed, 08 Apr 2009
Drivers considering buying a car this year may be tempted by the latest offering from Land Rover.

Unveiled today at the New York International Auto Show, the 2010 Range Rover is due to make an appearance in showrooms across the UK in July.

Motorists who prioritise a vehicle's safety credentials may be particularly impressed by the model as it comes with a variety of protective equipment, including enhanced Under Steer Control, Automatic High Beam Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring.

In addition to this, Land Rover pointed out the car comes with a better engine than its predecessor, extra interior technologies and outstanding driving dynamics.

Managing director Phil Popham stated: "The 2010 Range Rover is a considerable step forward for what is already regarded as one of world's most complete luxury vehicles."

In related motoring news, the manufacturer recently reported it had been offered a government grant of up to £27 million to create a totally new car.
