Golf Plus arrives in showrooms

Thu, 02 Apr 2009
People planning on buying a car in the coming months may want to check out Volkswagen's latest model.

The new Golf Plus is now available at dealerships up and down the country, with prices starting at £14,410.

Customers can choose between two petrol engines and two diesel units, as well as a variety of transmission options.

Volkswagen is also offering two trim levels - S and SE.

The company stated it kept choices in this area to a minimum to keep it simple for buyers.

Standard equipment on the S specification includes air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, 15-inch steel wheels and body-coloured bumpers.

Moving up to the SE level, customers can also expect to find features like parking sensors, cruise control and a front centre armrest.

In related motoring news, the standard version of the Golf - which was released earlier this year - was recently named Best Small Family Car by Fleet News.
