Citroen model 'ideal for young families'

Thu, 02 Apr 2009
People looking at buying a car that can meet their young family's needs may be impressed with the latest addition to Citroen's line-up.

The C3 Picasso is due to arrive in UK showrooms on April 9th, with prices starting at £11,495.

According to the manufacturer, the vehicle is particularly suitable for parents with youngsters as it is flexible and practical, but also looks good.

It suggested the car may also appeal to active, older motorists.

The company was also keen to highlight the model's safety credentials, pointing out it includes a range of features designed to protect occupants - such as a seatbelt monitoring system and up to six airbags.

Xavier Duchemin, managing director with Citroen UK, commented: "The C3 Picasso isn't just to be driven, it's designed to be used and become part of the family."

Meanwhile, this year's Geneva motor show saw the manufacturer unveil its DS Inside concept model.
