Daihatsu may have the answer for families

Wed, 11 Mar 2009
Drivers looking at buying a car that is suitable for transporting the whole family around have been urged to consider a Daihatsu.

The manufacturer claimed its Terios 4x4 offers great value for money and is ideal for a range of outings - from a trip across town to the annual summer getaway.

Priced from £12,725, the car qualifies for band seven or eight insurance and Daihatsu pointed out it is also eligible for low-cost road tax.

Motorists who buy the car before March 31st will get five years free servicing, alongside roadside assistance, a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and a six-year body warranty.

The manufacturer also stated parents can be sure the 4x4 will offer the best possible protection to their children.

Operations director Paul Hegarty said: "Safety comes as standard to this fine utility vehicle, as much as practicality, frugality, style and fun."

In other motoring news, Daihatsu recently claimed its cars were the cost-effective choice for cash-strapped drivers.
