Skoda releases first Fabia Scout photos

Fri, 20 Feb 2009
New pictures released by Skoda may tempt motorists who are considering buying a car in the coming months.

The first official photographs of the Fabia Scout have been made available ahead of the model's unveiling at next month's motor show in Geneva.

Skoda revealed buyers will be offered a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines.

It also pointed out the car comes with corner-design fog lights and tinted windows as standard.

Customers will also find the vehicle is fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels and they will be given the choice of upgrading to 17-inch versions.

The interior of the model includes Scout-specific floor mats and upholstery.

Skoda announced the vehicle is scheduled to arrive in showrooms up and down the UK in May.

Meanwhile, the company's Superb model recently came out on top in the Caravan Club's Tow Car of the Year awards.

At the moment the vehicle is on display at the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show at the Birmingham NEC.
