Peugeot offers car buyers 'something different'

Fri, 16 Jan 2009
Motorists planning on buying a car this year may find Peugeot can offer them something a little out-of-the-ordinary.

Commenting on its new 3008 cross-over model, the manufacturer said it "represents a totally new offering in the UK car market".

It explained the vehicle had been designed for people who did not necessarily want something that falls into traditional model categories - such as MPV and hatchback.

The carmaker predicted the 3008 would appeal to a wide range of motorists - from the youngest to the oldest.

Peugeot claimed the model offers the rigidity of a saloon, as well as excellent safety credentials.

It also pointed out it could help people looking to save money at the pump, as its lightweight frame keeps fuel consumption low.

The model is scheduled to arrive on the UK market at the end of the year.

In related motoring news, Peugeot recently reminded car buyers it has a number of competitive finance deals available.
