Mazda 'has got Christmas wrapped up'

Mon, 22 Dec 2008
People thinking about buying a car either for themselves or a loved one over Christmas are being urged to consider a Mazda.

According to the manufacturer, its sports models are perfect no matter what the weather, making them a great present for the festive season.

Commenting on the MX-5, sales director Mark Cameron said: "Driving with the top down and the wind in your hair is a perfect antidote to the winter blues."

The carmaker also claimed the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe is a great choice, even in the winter.

It explained the climate air conditioning with circulation system includes top-down settings, which means motorists can enjoy the feeling of open-air driving in freezing weather conditions.

Meanwhile, people looking for something which can accommodate the whole family may prefer the Mazda6.

The manufacturer recently revealed motorists would be able to buy the entry-level model from the 26-strong line-up - due to go on sale next month - for £14,891 on the road.
