Latest Audi may tempt motorists to treat themselves

Tue, 23 Dec 2008
Motorists considering buying a car in 2009 may be tempted to treat themselves to an Audi after seeing the manufacturer's latest offering.

The marque has revealed its new TT S line models will be available to order in the UK from the beginning of next month.

Commenting on the range, it stated: "The new S line option lends an even more purposeful air to the TT's unmistakeable lines."

It explained this had been achieved with an S line-specific front grille, side sill extensions and exclusive front and rear bumper designs.

The suspension is lower than on a standard TT and the new model also features a short-shift gearbox.

People opting for a four-cylinder version will find their vehicle includes chrome trimming on the exhaust tailpipes as well.

The range will be priced from £26,540 to £34,065 on the road.

In related motoring news, Audi recently announced its new R8 V10 would also be available to order in the UK in next month - with prices starting at £99,575 on the road.
