Alfa Romeo celebrates latest model with James Bond Scalextric

Fri, 05 Dec 2008
People buying a car which stands out from the crowd may want to take a look at Alfa Romeo's latest offering.

The Alfa 159 Limited Edition has been described by the manufacturer as "a new secret weapon for dealers across the country".

Equipped with gadgets worth more than £3,000, the model also includes red Brembo brake callipers, sports dials with red background, black leather upholstery, Carbonio black metallic paint, lowered suspension and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Anyone booking a test drive in the new car will be in with a chance of winning a James Bond Quantum of Solace Scalextric, which features the Alfa 159 Limited Edition alongside an Aston Martin DBS.

Priced at £22,168, a maximum of 250 of the model will be produced.

Meanwhile, the Alfa Romeo MiTo - which arrives in showrooms next month - has been awarded the best possible safety rating by Euro Ncap, following a series of crash tests.
