Peugeot's new 107 to have "new face"

Thu, 06 Nov 2008
The new Peugeot 107 is due to go on sale in the UK next year - and will also feature a "new face", the manufacturer has announced.

According to the car maker, the vehicle is due to be upgraded both inside and out.

Externally, the front end of the motor is to feature chrome detailing and a new design of wheel trim in order to give the car a more "youthful" look, it states.

"The interior has also been upgraded and includes new upholstery materials which complement new exterior colours in the range," Peugeot adds.

Green credentials are also taken into consideration in the new 107, with CO2 emissions reduced to 106g/km, retaining its £35 road tax 'B' banding.

Further details on the vehicle will be announced "in due course", Peugeot concludes.

In other motor news, the manufacturer recently announced it is to make its 308 CC Cabriolet available to consumers in the UK from April next year.
