BVRLA membership for green-friendly car firm

Tue, 19 Aug 2008
A company which provides a lending service for motorists wanting environmentally-friendly cars has received membership of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA).

Green Motion rental firm has now pledged to follow the BVRLA's charter, meaning it will guarantee its vehicles are clean and safe and drive to a low mileage.

It may be that renting an automobile is a viable alternative for those currently seeking car buying advice.

Richard Lowden, Green Motion founder, remarked that the membership serves to espouse the company ethos.

He said: "Green Motion's membership of the BVRLA further strengthens our organisation's commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer service to both our retail and corporate hirers."

Meanwhile, Hybrid Car News has remarked that companies still do not know how to market eco-friendly cars, despite growing demand for the models.
