L200 in lower congestion charge band

Tue, 01 Apr 2008
The new L200 vehicle from Mitsubishi will be rated in the lower band of the congestion charge, saving motorists money in the process, the company has announced.

According to the Japanese automobile manufacturer, drivers stand to pocket £17 every time they venture in and out of the capital.

Indeed, the firm announced that the new range features manual transmission variants and comes with a 225 g per km CO2 emissions rating.

Jim Tyrell, managing director at Mitsubishi, remarked that the company has done all it can to keep consumers' budgets in mind.

He said: "We have worked hard to reduce the emissions levels wherever we can to help minimise any negative financial impact on the thousands of businesses that have chosen to use our pick-ups."

This comes as the company launches the automatic variant of its Montero SUV model in India alongside Hindustan Motors.ADNFCR-1081-ID-18531866-ADNFCR
