CLASSIC VALUATION DAY 5TH MARCH

Tue, 04 Mar 2008
Special BCA Valuation Day for classic cars, motorcycles and automobilia on Wednesday 5th March

If you have a classic car and want to know its value, then BCA can help. ‘Classics from BCA’ - the new brand for BCA’s classic and collectors’ vehicle sales - is staging a special free valuation day at the BCA Bridgwater auction centre on Wednesday 5th March, between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

The event is open to all classic vehicle and automobilia owners who just need to turn up on the day – BCA Bridgwater is located two minutes from J23 of the M5 on the Bristol Road (A38). Specialist consultants from ‘Classics from BCA’ will be delighted to offer guidance and valuations to all classic car, motorcycle and automobilia owners.

On hand will be Robin Lawton, Head of ‘Classics from BCA’, who specialises in Veteran, Vintage and Classic cars and Operations Manager Peter Bourne, who has wide knowledge of the modern classic car and motorcycle field. With their combined experience, they are able to provide realistic valuations for owners looking to sell their classic car, motorcycle or automobilia item.

And if potential sellers are unable to attend the Valuation Day, then all is not lost. The new ‘Classics from BCA’ website - www.bca-classics.co.uk - features a free online valuation service. Owners can submit details of their classic car via the website to receive an estimated value of their pride and joy. There is also a forum for visitors to share information and knowledge on caring for their own classic car as well as a blog regularly updated by Robin Lawton, where enthusiasts can ask questions and get advice.

Robin Lawton commented "If you are thinking of selling a classic car, motorbike or item of automobilia then we will be delighted to welcome you to BCA Bridgwater. Whether you have a valuable vintage car or a more modern ‘practical classic’ we can advise you on its value and offer advice on selling the vehicle. Peter and I will also advise on how our ‘Classics from BCA’ sales operate and how to consign your items for sale”.

BCA stages a special Classic & Collector’s vehicle sale at Bridgwater, Somerset on Tuesday 22nd April.
