Koleos set for world debut at Geneva motor show

Mon, 11 Feb 2008
Renault is to introduce its 4x4 to the world at next month's Geneva motor show.

The company believes that its new Koleos ranges gives customers a "unique standard of safety and comfort" rarely seen in a crossover vehicle.

Aimed at people looking to get away from the trappings of city life, the model comes with the storage space of an MPV while motorists can also benefit from its all-wheel drive system.

Renault believes the car marks a "sure sign" that it is exploring the right areas of production effectively.

"The launch of Koleos marks a decisive step in the brand's development, not only in Europe but across the world," said the firm.

A producer of automobiles, trucks and buses, Renault was originally established in 1889 and its headquarters can be found in the Boulogne-Billancourt area of France.

Some 126,584 people were said to be working for the company in 2005.ADNFCR-1081-ID-18462779-ADNFCR
