Freelander 2 heads to outdoor show

Mon, 18 Feb 2008
Land Rover will be showing off its credentials as a manufacturer of good towing vehicles when it heads to the National Caravan & Outdoor Show this week.

The company will bring its Freelander 2 model to the Birmingham NEC for the event, which ends on Sunday, allowing people interested in purchasing a model to test drive it for free.

This follows Fiat's announcement that it will be bringing four of its Ducato models to the exhibition, in addition to a Scudo.

Andy Griffiths, UK marketing director for Land Rover, said that communicating "directly with other like-minded people" is a priority for the company.

"Many of our customers purchase a Land Rover for its class-leading towing capacity, all-round capability on any given terrain and for the lifestyle it allows them to lead," he commented.

In addition, the automaker will be setting up the Land Rover Cafe in Hall 5, where visitors can pick up a coffee before continuing to check out wares at the show.ADNFCR-1081-ID-18471758-ADNFCR
