Skoda's homeland gets to Czech out Fabia Scout

Fri, 05 Oct 2007
The Fabia Scout design concept from Czech firm Skoda has gone on display in the company's homeland.

Pop-out hooks to hold shopping bags, a pop-out bench and a boot roller-cover are just some of the nifty features that can be found in the model, which will be in front of Rudolfinum on Jan Palach Square until October 7th.

But this is not Europe's first meeting with the new design, as visitors to the Frankfurt Motor Show last month were reserved that privilege.

Skoda commented: "The brand new vehicle is a standard estate with visual off-road features. Just like with the Roomster Scout and Octavia Scout, the design of the new car will include model-specific accessories and equipment items."

Meanwhile, the Czech automaker's Octavia Scout model is now available for purchase in dealerships with a 2.0 FSI petrol or a 2.0TDi diesel engine.ADNFCR-1081-ID-18306427-ADNFCR
