I don't usually have a lot of time for people who are a bit late back to their car, but the parking people really do need to think sometimes, especially in this sort of case.

Shocking journalism.

As the parking firm said, they're applying the rules layed down by the landowner and have been given no leeway.

I'd have thought that any half-decent hack would have gone the extra mile to find out who Scroogy Ratfink McScrote the landowner really is and asked them to comment on their epic display of outright b_____dry.

It's a Private Parking Company, not the Police or a council. They are well known for being thieving, lying scammers and have no interest in leniency if they can make a quick profit.

In any case it's unenforceable so I hope he has the good sense not to pay it.
