Peugeot 307 - Power steering feeling harder - olivier74

I recently started to feel the power steering being a lot harder but not always, kind of on and off. Especially harder when turning on the spot. Could this be the pump, fluid to change?
The car is a 2.0HDi 110bhp 03 reg 190,000miles!

Assuming it has plenty of fluid, check that the pump belt is not slipping.
