Xara Picasso - Citroen Diesel Poor Starting - MrMad1966

Hi Gurus, really appreciate some thoughts out there.

My baby is an 04 Citroen Picasso 2.0 hdi diesel. Ive had her since 2007 and she's done 59000 miles. She has always started first time no problems but when it was really cold a couple of years ago she took 3 or 4 turns (each about 10/15 seconds) of the engine to get her going, car seems smooth enough though once going. When that winter was over I replaced the heater plugs thinking that they would be the likley cause but they all looked in good nick but I changed them anyway. BOttom line is its still a poor starter, churning over ALOT more than it used to before it coughs into life. Whats the thoughts on the next line I should take ??

hi you could try adding some cataclean to the fuel tank (lots on ebay)it cleans the combustion chambers,injectors,and the fuel pump i use it every 6000 miles
