MB C220 CDI Estate - 2012 MY - What is a water deflector - Cluedo

Hi - after the advice of collos in my last thread and taking the time to read the manual I noticed a requirement within the service schedule to clean the water deflector during the annual service.

Does anyone know what this is and where it fits on the car ?

It is fitted to the sun roof if you have one .
