Peugeot 206 1.4 - 206 Clutch - pinheadplanet

Hi

Sometimes (rarely) the clutch pedal can seem to 'snap' and travel all the way to the floor with engaging/disengaging the clutch then after a couple of presses it returns to being fine.

I have no idea what this is and I can't really think that the clutch is on it's way out. Any chance it could be the cable getting caught somewhere... or what do we think?

Thanks

WITHOUT engaging/disengaging the clutch

If it has a cable operated clutch I would suspect its being caused by a faulty auto adjuster.

Agreed, you might be able to cable tie it temporarily till a new adjuster can be found as necessary, it isn't going to get any better and will eventually not grip at all if left.
