Volkswagen T5 Transporter - Can Volkswagen build a straight chasis for the T5? - Ed_Moses

This applies to all T5 based vehicles

Van/ Conbi/ Shuttle/ Caravelle.

The owners reviews moslty state that the tyres last 10,000 miles or less. VW seem to be blaming the tyres used for the poor performance.

This maybe so, but he prevalence of the complaints would suggest that there is a manufacturing fault present .

Can Volkswagen build a straight chasis for the T5?

Any comments/experience are welcome on VW T5

I live in Germany were there are millions of the these vehicles in every form and I have never heard in any of the motoring magazines or from the ADAC of any problem with tyres let alone bent chassis. It would be interesting if you could forward further details of the tyres .
