I have read the fine print on the Lifetime Warranty, but am still not certainly sure if I should actually need to go to the "Vauxhall Approved Service" dealer to have my car serviced annually in order not to invalidate the Warranty? Can I go to an independent service centre as they are much cheaper. I have a quote from Evan Halshaw on the 3-year Service Plan which cost £475; Motorbodies charge £500++ for similar service plan.
Evan Halshaw service package includes:
· Easy – Allows the customer to spread the cost of their vehicle servicing by interest free monthly payments
· The plan is portable, so if you purchase a new vehicle the plan can be adjusted to ensure your servicing costs are still covered.
· Inflation proof - you'll get your future servicing at a price fixed today
· 10% Loyalty savings - on all mechanical repairs, tyres and labour
· 10% Loyalty savings - on all accessories, including fitting
· Loyalty saving - £30 MOTs for the duration of the policy
· Complimentary – wash and vac on all servicing visits
· Puncture repair x8 per year
· Seasonal checks x3 per year
This is my first time owning a car.
Any advice on this is much appreciated. The car I have is a new Zafira Exclusiv 1.6.
