Interesting 7 seater - crjos

When we started a family, we got a Rav4, which we like very much. However, we now need to get a third child in the back for school rotas, and the back seat of the Rav4 is just not wide enough.

I know that there are loads of good 7 seaters out there, but I'm looking for ideas for something interesting - as opposed to yet another Previa or Galaxy.

Any ideas?

Budget is about £8k, mileage will be low - probably under 5k per year.

Thanks!

If those are too small, try a Ford S-Max - by all accounts a lot better to drive than most MPVs. However for your budget you'd have to settle for a well-used one, but if you're doing only 5,000 miles a year don't be afraid of a high-mileage example.

Sounds like you don't actually need 7 seats and something that'll properly accomodate three across the back would do.

That might give a wider (oops, sorry) choice.

If it's three across the back, then check out the Honda FR-V. £8K should buy you a tidy 07/57 example, although possibly not enough for the diesel.

These cars hold their value well. One of those models that seemed to become more desirable after being discontinued.
