Ford Galaxy - Galaxy mk2, No indicators, hazards or wipers! - m_loades
Hi,

I have a 2000 Ford galaxy (facelift) and the indicators, hazards and wipers have packed up. The central locking still works but not on the key fob. I have continuity checked all the fuses inside the car, replaced the multi function timer unit and checked I have 12volts to the timer unit. I'm not sure if the new timer unit works but what are the odds!?? Can anyone recommend anything else I can check?

Many thanks, Matt

Check the metal strip fuses in the fusebox on top of the battery. Also there is a blade fuse at the front of the box,5 amp ,if I recall.that controls these functions.Has the car been jump started recently?hth

Hi,

thanks for your reply!

FIXED!!!

I checked the fuses you mentioned and all was good. Checked the connections to the fuses above the battery and spotted a damaged wire. Checked it and it had corroded entirely in half! In-line splice and she's good to go!

Thanks a lot for your advice! :)
