Toyota Avensis 1.8 2004 - Wheel Rims & Tyres - Kanzed

Little advice needed please guys.
Can I fit 18'' Rims with 225/40/18 tyres to my 2004 Toyota Avensis 1.8 (T25)
ie. will they fit inside the wheel arches, or should I go with 17'' rims with 215/45/17.

Why would you want to fit 18" wheels to a 8 year old Avensis. You will ruin the ride and your insurance will probably increase quite steeply, your fuel economy will take a nose dive as well. Added to that they will cost more than the car is worth and that for me makes a bad idea ludicrous.

Stay with the standard wheels.
