I bought the above as a runabout for my daughter some years ago and it has given good service. However recently a fault has developed with the self cancelling indicator stalk mounted on the steering column. The indicators work OK when used to indicate left or right turns but do not self cancel when the wheel is turned back to central position after the turn has been completed, obviously a trip or lever which operates the mechanism inside the unit has broken off. I am told by a Dealer it will cost about £350 to replace the switch and do not want to spend that much on what is now an old car. I am told there are garages etc that can repair the existing unit so does anyone know of such a place preferably in the Midlands area.
