Is there really much point in locking the car when you have dogs inside?

But there may not be any way to overcome this security- but try locking using the key in the door.

The alarm will need to be disabled as well, press the button on the drivers B pillar, as per handbook, when locking up.

I've never tried to lock my Octavia with the windows open- not even sure it is possible. I know the windows can be closed if the lock button is pressed for a few seconds.

I live in Australia and have a Skoda Yeti. The car is always parked in the open as I have no garage. In the very hot sunny summer weather, I like to keep the windows down and the car locked (so engine imobiliser is working). In the last few days I have noticed that when I check the car (after sundown) the windows are up again - like magic. I wonder if this is a security thing that Skodas do using the auto headlight sensor. Anyone have any thoughts?
