Unsuitable parking

Unsuitable parking - CarlyyyBee

I live up a road where there is houses up until a certain point only up on side of the road, about 6 houses down there is now houses opposite, but a person living at the house who's right on the end of the opposite side of the road, has around 6 cars, their drive can only occupy 2 cars. The thing that has really annoyed me lately, is that their cars that they can't fit onto the drive they park opposite the drive of my house, so that it is obstructing me from getting out of my drive. They have a long stretch from their house, and there is about 4 houses between mine and their house, and they purposely park opposite the drive, or just infront of the house, so i still, even then struggle to get out of my drive.

Can anything be done about this? Surely this can't be allowed?

Reg 103 MV (Con and Use) Regs 1986

Mo person in charge of a motor vehicle or trailer shall cause or permit the vehcle to stand on a road so as to cause any unecessary obstruction of the road.

Parked across your drive preventing yoyu getting out onto the road then offence.

But as WC once said Jaw, jaw is better than war war. So first have a word with neighbour and point out difficulty when it occurs and show him.

If he does not heed then complain to Authorities.

Such people often have a string of UNTAXED/UNINSURED cars parked on the road

which can also be reported. Check VRM's against DVL and MID files on PC.
