Absolutely spot on, and check gateways shop doorways, between cars and hedges for shadows or running dogs or errant footballs etc, constant scanning.

Don't get a lot of time any more for that, checking for cameras both static and moveable and glancing at the speedo in case slipped one mph over the limit of the day.

Thats why we have the number one mitigating excuse...i wasn't speeding.

But what if i then discover the road is 40mph? Surely i cant speed up? It wont be safe!!

I overtook a truck earlier this week on the A12. Im sure Back Roomers will forgive me for not checking for a pedestrian under it.
