Chevrolet Matiz 07 - How much for a car that needs VIC, MOT? - kevin67h

I need to put my car through a vehicle identity check and it's mot. I don't know if the authority will accept the repairs that have been done to the car but assuming they refuse (worst case scenario) what percentage loss should I be thinking about when selling the car on - perhaps at auction?

I thought the vic was to check the car was not made up of 2-3 cars welded together not how good the repair is,ie if all the car is original then it will pass the vic if not its suspected to be made of different cars welded together the repair doesnt come into it....someone correct me if wrong please///

The VIC is a check of identity, it doesn’t look at the quality of the repair or confirm roadworthiness. If you have any concerns regarding these aspects, you should seek the opinion of an independent expert.
