Peugeot 306 - inner cv joint? - scfc_151

Hi,

I have some strange noise comming from the drives side of my car.

Its was following a massive pothole but ill try to explain it.

When pulling off there is a juddering sound (like the car is stalling) even when giving it plenty of gas. The clutch was replaced as well as having the flywheel skimmed 2 years ago / 22,000 miles.

Im also getting a grinding / rumbling sound when driving along if I put my foot down.

I was wondering if this could be the inner cv joint as it doesnt clunk when on full lock. If so would it be cheaper to replace the whole driveshaft?

If not any other possible solutions?

Cheers

Inner joint posible but unlikely, it could be the centre bearing though, replacing the shaft would fix either. Don't know how much driveshafts are but I would think a secondhand one wouldn't cost much.
